Pinner II, Harrow

A project in Pinner, Northwest London, the remodelling of the property saw the complete refurbishment including the addition of a side and rear extension to the detached property for a young family.

A planning application was submitted to the local authority and working closely with the planning and conservation officers, planning permission was granted for a modern timber cladded rear extension to create a distinct addition to the existing property.

The project involved the demolition of the existing side garage and rebuilt alongside a new side and rear extension.  Whilst the frontage of the property was designed to be kept aligned and in character with the rest of the street, the rear extension portrays a contrasting design against the existing house.

With the internal arrangement designed with the mind of the homeowners working from home and to create additional auxiliary spaces, various plans were developed to achieve the final goal.  The final design comprise of a front lounge room, an open plans kitchen/dining/lounge space, pantry, utility room, study and shower on the ground floor.  The first floor comprises of 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite bedroom and a family bathroom.
